Great Myth – Where To Start

This is by far where most people go off the rails. We are a “want it now” society more than any other time that I can remember and that means when we decide to go on a diet we want to lose 20 pounds in the first week or it is not worth it. Well, you need to change that mindset first. Remember this, it takes much longer to lose 10 pounds than to gain 10 pounds. You can gain 10 pounds in a couple of weeks easily but losing 2 pounds a week will test you like never before. Remember earlier when I said that to lose weight all you need to do is eat less? Well, this is how you start….slowly. The first thing you need to do is to figure out how much food you eat on a weekly basis. And by food, I mean….you guessed it….dreaded calories.
